Ear Wax Removal & Gentle Irrigation

With an initial assessment via the use of Video Otoscopy, we examine the condition of your outer ear (Pinna), ear canal (External Auditory Meatus, and ear drum (Tympanic Membrane).

Quite often we find that the main problem, is simply that our ears have produced too much wax (cerumen) and/or wax has not migrated out of the ear as well as we would like.  Sometimes ear wax can become hard and uncomfortable and therefore difficult to shift without professional support.

We can swiftly remove stubborn ear wax and send you on your way feeling much better, cleaner, and healthier.

Occasionally we discover infection, and will duly refer you to your GP for treatment or to E.N.T for further assessment after explaining what may be going on in there.  Quite often Ear Infections can be remedied by simple treatments prescribed by your GP. We can of course share the information gained from your assessment to better achieve a successful and lasting remedy.

Some people produce more wax than others, and it’s completely normal that we get a wax blockage from time to time, don’t worry you are not on your own. There are several safe and minimally invasive techniques which we can employ to remove wax in one visit, safely, and comfortably.

Stubborn wax can be eased by the use of medical grade Olive Oil (available in-store) in advance of a wax removal. On occasion we may need to book another session to complete the removal. In this circumstance there will be no extra charge. It’s about doing things safely, and comfortably.
